Most people prefer the square handle. It actually affords a better grip, but more importantly it gives a tactile impression of the blade's orientation in the hand. The silver wire also helps the feel of the knife and some say it affords a little finer control. |
However some people swear by the round or bare handle getting more of their hand up onto the blade itself. That is why I offer them several ways.
